Microdermabrasion vs. Chemical Peels

They both will reveal smoother skin, and allow for moisturizer to be more readily absorbed into the skin with the dead upper layer no longer blocking the path.

Microdermabrasion will target superficial imperfections to your skin like fine lines and wrinkles, whereas a chemical peel can get down into deeper more serious skin problems – such as deeper wrinkles and acne scarring.
Microdermabrasion uses fine crystals to scrub away dead skin, and the finished result will be that of a soft glow and clean face – much like a really efficient facial. Whereas a chemical peel is a little more intense, and can improve the skins appearance on a deeper level, depending on the peel you choose.
Overall a chemical peel will have more noticeable results, especially if ongoing treatments are maintained, but microdermabrasion is an excellent choice if your skin is simply thirsty, and you desire quick results for a fresh, clean, clear face.
