The powerful effects of the Venus IPL Treatment is a result of infrared light in which it uses to quickly improve upon the overall condition of your skin, as it stimulates the all-important production of elastin and collagen within the deep under-layers of your skin.
In addition, the Versa IPL Treatment is non-invasive, quick (treatments are usually around 20 minutes), without any need for downtime, offering noticeable results for some skin conditions (such as spider veins or dark spots) in as little as 1-2 treatments, and is safe and effective for all skin types!
What Skin Type Isn’t Best for IPL Treatments?
In our recent newsletter, we discussed how not all skin or skin types benefit from IPL treatments. In fact, those with darker skin types may find the increased risk of side-effects off-putting. Melasma (mask of pregnancy, or hormone-fuelled pigmentation) in darker skin types often comes back after IPL treatments. So we don’t normally recommend IPL when we are sure that the pigment we can see is melasma.
Aside from that, most are excellent candidates for these skincare treatments.
